Summer Intensive Audition

(included in professional audition price)

Each dancer in the professional audition will be seen in a ballet and modern class. Company directors decide who they wish to call back, and each director works in their own way with the dancers who are called back. Dancers will also have the opportunity to take a free Audition Success Seminar from The Ballet Scout.

Dancers will be taught by the directors of the auditioning companies. If called back, dancers will also learn rep from three different companies and may perform a variation. Dancers not called back will have the chance to take class from Oklahoma City Ballet Principal Dancer Mayu Odaka.

Registration for the National Master Audition also includes the opportunity to audition for the Summer Intensive programs. This audition is included in the price.

Thank you so much for planning, organizing, and hosting the National Master Audition. The opportunity to be seen by so many company directors at one time and place, is truly special. I am incredibly grateful for your positive and encouraging energy inside and out of the studio. As it allowed me to experience more than just an audition but to learn and grow as a dance artist. I now have valuable information that will undoubtedly guide me towards my next adventure in the dance world. And have many doors open to explore.
All of your hard work allowed each dancer to be seen and take a chance to show who they are as an artist. Throughout the entire process I felt supported and encouraged by how much care and consideration was put into each class. And also by the additional information about housing and food options. It means a lot as a dancer to have that support coming into a new city and studio. Not to mention going into an audition with so many important names at the front of the room.
Having come away with so much I wanted to express my gratitude for your work, the opportunity and experience. I appreciate you and all that you do. From your staff to your dancers and students it was a warm and welcoming experience that I hope to attend again.

Registration is first come, first served. Space is limited.
Register early to secure your spot and take advantage of early bird pricing.
You DO NOT need to turn in all your audition materials when you register. Your registration and payment secures your spot at the audition, and the sooner you send your photos, video, and resume, the sooner the directors will get to see you.
